A well-known multi-device WhatsApp bot with a mature command system, group protection tools, sticker features and plugin support.
About
What is Levanter?
Levanter is an open-source WhatsApp bot created by lyfe00011, designed for messaging automation, group management, media tools, custom plugins and multi-session support. It also includes an optional API mode for developers who want to connect WhatsApp messaging with their own applications.
Two things set Levanter apart. It can run several WhatsApp accounts from a single instance, each with its own session, and its plugin system lets developers add new commands without changing the core bot. Its responses work in many languages, including English, Urdu, Hindi, Spanish, French, Bengali, Indonesian, Turkish, Russian, Arabic, Malayalam and Chinese, set with the BOT_LANG option.
With AHMED X, you deploy Levanter through a guided process instead of setting up the whole project on your own server. Generate a Session ID on Levanter’s official session page, enter it in the deployment form on AHMED X, configure the supported options, and follow the deployment status. AHMED X runs Levanter from its own maintained copy of the project, so the bot you deploy always comes from a source AHMED X controls.
Compare it with every other bot in the bot catalog, or read the full deployment guide before you start.

Session ID
How to Get a Levanter Session ID
A Session ID is the credential that links the bot to your WhatsApp number, and Levanter’s official session page generates it. Make sure you are linking the intended WhatsApp account and that you understand which bot instance will use the resulting session.
Open the official session page
Visit levanter.site/session, the official Levanter session generator.
Follow the pairing instructions
Use the options displayed on the official page to connect your WhatsApp account. The available authentication method and exact steps depend on the current interface.
Complete WhatsApp linking
If the page requests a pairing code or QR-based authentication, follow its on-screen instructions in WhatsApp’s linked-device settings.
Copy your Session ID
Once the session process is complete, copy the Session ID generated by the service and keep it private.
Open Levanter on AHMED X
Paste your Session ID into the designated field on the AHMED X deployment form, configure the available settings, and follow the deployment process.
Configuration
Levanter Environment Variables Explained
Environment variables control how Levanter behaves without rewriting the bot’s source code. The project documents these variables in its configuration and deployment information. Availability and accepted values can depend on the current version and deployment interface, and the complete reference lives on the official environment variables page.
You do not need to customize every variable. Start with the required session credential and any fields marked as required, then change optional settings for your use case: a particular command prefix with PREFIX, supported responses in Urdu through the language options, or the API settings if you are a developer using the optional API. Never paste API keys or session credentials into public documentation.

Levanter Plugins: Browse, Install, and Customize
One of Levanter’s most important features is its plugin-based architecture. Plugins introduce commands and additional behavior, so the bot adapts to different use cases without every feature being part of the core command set. The examples below are plugin use cases, not a guarantee that every plugin is present in the default installation.
You can also write your own. Levanter’s plugin-development guide documents a structure where a plugin defines a command pattern, a description, a category and an asynchronous handler. In the example, pattern defines the command pattern, desc the description shown for the command, type its category, and onlyGroup whether it is restricted to group chats. The handler receives the message, the text captured by the pattern, and the session context. Review any custom plugin before installing it: a plugin can access messages and act with the bot’s permissions, so only use code from trusted sources.
Open the plugin dashboard
Go to levanter.site/plugin and review the plugins and descriptions available there.
Pick what matches your need
Identify the plugin that matches your requirements instead of installing everything.
Follow the platform instructions
Install it by following the instructions provided by the plugin dashboard and your deployment platform.
Test it in a suitable chat
Try the installed functionality in a test chat before relying on it in your groups.
const { bot } = require('../lib/');
bot(
{
pattern: 'hello ?(.*)',
desc: 'Send a simple greeting',
type: 'misc',
onlyGroup: false,
},
async (message, match, ctx) => {
await message.send('Hello! Levanter is running.');
}

Levanter API Mode for Developers
Beyond chat commands, Levanter’s repository documents an optional API mode for applications that need programmatic access to WhatsApp messaging. API mode is optional and is not enabled automatically on every deployment: it needs suitable configuration, and requests are authenticated with your API key in the x-api-key header. Read the GitHub README for endpoint definitions, request examples and current limitations.

Safety
Is Levanter Safe to Use?
Levanter is an open-source project, which allows developers to inspect its source code. Open-source availability alone does not guarantee that every plugin, deployment or hosted instance is secure. A bot connected to a WhatsApp account may process personal messages and group activity, so use it responsibly and only install code you trust.
