About

What is CypherX?

CypherX is an open-source WhatsApp automation bot built with Node.js and the Baileys WhatsApp Multi-Device library. It is one of the more widely followed projects in the WhatsApp bot development community, and its public GitHub repository is the main reference for its source code, release notes, and setup requirements.

The CypherX README focuses on getting started rather than publishing a full feature list: it walks visitors through forking the repository and then generating a Session ID through its numbered pairing servers. The official pairing portal offers pairing-code and QR linking, and its release notes document media tools such as Telegram sticker conversion and menu customization commands.

On AHMED X you can deploy CypherX free with a pairing code and Session ID, with no coding and no server to set up yourself. This guide covers the pairing process, deployment steps, the commands and capabilities the project actually documents, requirements, troubleshooting, and safety.

Compare it with every other bot in the bot catalog, or read the full deployment guide before you start.

Pairing Code

How to Get a CypherX Pairing Code

01

Open the pairing portal

Visit pair3.cypherxbot.space, the CypherX pairing server linked from AHMED X. The portal provides a phone-number field, pairing-code generation, and a QR-scan option.

02

Enter your WhatsApp number

Enter the number of the WhatsApp account you want to connect, including the country code, in the format the page requests, and verify the number before continuing.

03

Generate the pairing code

Select Generate Pair Code and follow the instructions displayed by the portal. Keep the page open while the pairing and session-capture process is in progress.

04

Link WhatsApp

On your phone, open WhatsApp, go to Settings, then Linked Devices, tap Link a device, and enter the pairing code. If you choose the QR option instead, follow the QR instructions displayed on the portal.

05

Wait for the Session ID

Keep the tab open until the portal confirms the session is captured and the Session ID is ready. Copy the credential only after the portal confirms the process has completed.

06

Keep it private

A Session ID is sensitive authentication information. Do not share it publicly, send it to strangers, or post it in screenshots, because a valid session may provide access to the linked WhatsApp account.

Deploy Guide

How to Deploy CypherX on AHMED X

01

Open CypherX on AHMED X

Open the CypherX page on AHMED X and choose Deploy. If AHMED X asks you to sign in, do that first, and the deploy form opens inside your panel.

02

Generate your Session ID

Use the official CypherX pairing portal linked from the deploy form and complete the linking process until your Session ID is ready.

03

Enter the Session ID

Paste your session credential into the Session Id field in the deploy form and check the value carefully before submitting.

04

Configure available settings

If the deployment form provides configuration options, select the settings you need. Do not assume that every variable from a self-hosted installation is available through the web form.

05

Submit the deployment

Review the information and submit. Follow the status and instructions shown in your panel. Deployment success depends on the session validity, configuration, and compatibility with the current version.

06

Test the bot

Once the panel shows the bot is running, send a supported command to the connected WhatsApp account. If it does not respond, check the session status, command prefix, application logs, and installed version.

Features

What CypherX Documents

CypherX does not publish a complete feature or command list in its README, so this page sticks to what the project itself documents in its repository, package metadata, and release notes. Feature availability depends on the version being deployed, and some tools rely on external services or configuration that may not work in every deployment.

Its release notes document media work in detail: animated and video stickers from Telegram packs are converted and sent as proper video stickers, with Lottie stickers converted through FFmpeg, and the menu video and image commands persist their settings to both the bot state and the database. The package metadata shows the technical stack behind the bot, including the Baileys library, a Google text-to-speech package, and SQLite and PostgreSQL database packages.

Messaging and group utilities configured through its command and settings system
Sticker creation and processing, including Telegram sticker pack conversion
Media downloading and processing tools for supported services and formats
Text-to-speech functionality from its bundled Google TTS library
Database-backed storage options with SQLite or PostgreSQL

Requirements

Requirements and Configuration

CypherX is a Node.js application that uses the Baileys ecosystem and additional packages for media processing, AI integration, and storage. The current repository's package metadata specifies a supported Node.js range of >=20 <25. Confirm the active branch and version before installing it manually.

A self-hosted setup may require a compatible Node.js runtime, Git and npm, a valid WhatsApp session, the dependencies listed by the repository, and system tools such as FFmpeg, which its release notes use for sticker conversion, plus configuration for optional integrations. Requirements for the AHMED X deployment form may differ from a manual installation, so follow the settings and instructions provided by the platform.

Manual Setup

How to Install CypherX Manually

Developers who want to host CypherX themselves should use the official repository at github.com/Dark-Xploit/CypherX. Do not copy commands from an unrelated fork or an outdated tutorial without checking compatibility with the version you are installing. For a guided deployment workflow, start from the CypherX page on AHMED X instead.

01

Review the documentation

Read the latest README and package metadata in the official repository.

02

Prepare the environment

Install a compatible Node.js version within the range the package metadata specifies.

03

Get the source code

Clone or download the repository from GitHub.

04

Install dependencies

Install the project dependencies using the documented package-manager commands.

05

Configure the session

Configure the session and supported settings using the method the project supports.

06

Start and test

Start the application using the current documented start script, review the logs, and test the connection.

Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting

Pairing code is not generated: check that the pairing portal is accessible, verify the phone number and country code, follow the current portal instructions, and keep the page open while the session is being captured.
Session ID is not ready: wait for the portal to confirm that session capture is complete. If the process fails, follow the portal retry instructions and generate a fresh session if necessary.
Deployment fails: check the error and status displayed by AHMED X, and verify that the session credential is complete and the deployment form contains all required information.
Bot connects but does not respond: check whether the requested command exists in your installed version, and verify the command prefix, deployment logs, and connection status.
Media commands fail: verify that the media source is supported, the URL is valid, and the relevant dependencies are installed. External media services can change without notice.
Bot stops responding: review the application logs, session status, environment configuration, and resource limits. A successful initial deployment does not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Safety

Is CypherX Safe to Use?

CypherX is a third-party WhatsApp automation project, not an official WhatsApp application. It uses an unofficial WhatsApp Web-compatible library, so understand the account and privacy implications before connecting your number. No unofficial WhatsApp bot can guarantee that an account will never be restricted, so use the software at your own discretion and follow these precautions:

Consider using a secondary number rather than your primary personal account
Keep your Session ID private
Review the source code and dependencies
Use only trusted pairing and deployment services
Avoid excessive messaging or spam-like automation
Understand what access the bot and its plugins may have
Follow WhatsApp's applicable terms and policies
