About

What Is JAWAD-MD?

What the project is, from its own repository and websites.

JAWAD-MD is an open-source WhatsApp multi-device bot project developed under the JawadTechX name. Its public GitHub repository contains the source code, configuration files, plugins and deployment instructions for running a bot connected to a WhatsApp account.

JAWAD-MD provides a web based pairing interface: select a server, enter your WhatsApp number, and generate an 8 digit pairing code that links your account through WhatsApp’s Linked Devices flow. The project’s own site also presents business uses such as instant support, lead capture and order automation.

The project is published under the Apache License 2.0. Its README asks users to give proper credit to the original author and states that the project is not for sale.

JAWAD-MD is a third-party project. It is not an official WhatsApp product, and its repository states that it is not affiliated with WhatsApp Inc.

Features

JAWAD-MD Bot Features

The feature list published in the project’s GitHub README, re-checked against the current README for this update. Availability can depend on the installed version, configuration, plugins, external services and permissions, and this list is not an independent test of every feature.

WhatsApp Multi-Device Support

Link a WhatsApp account through the project’s web based pairing interface using a temporary pairing code, instead of relying exclusively on scanning a QR code.

Anti-Delete Messages

Anti-delete for both text and media messages. The exact behaviour depends on the implementation and configuration.

YouTube Audio Downloader

Processes supported YouTube links and provides audio downloads. Availability can depend on external services.

Social Media Downloader

Media downloading for Instagram and TikTok. Supported links and formats may vary.

AI Chatbot

An AI chatbot feature listed in the README. It may depend on configuration, plugins and external API credentials.

Group Moderation Commands

Group moderation functionality. Actions depend on permissions and the bot’s role in the group.

Automatic Sticker Response

Sticker related automated responses for supported interactions.

Word Relay and Game Plugins

Game plugins, including Word Relay, for interactive use in chats and groups.

Group Admin Tools

Administrative actions such as ban, kick and promote. These require the bot to have suitable permissions in the group.

Sticker Maker

Converts supported images into stickers.

Commands

JAWAD-MD Commands and Categories

The README describes feature categories, but it does not publish a complete command by command reference. Do not assume commands from other WhatsApp MD bots will work in JAWAD-MD: check the current source code or the running bot’s own menu for exact commands and prefixes.

Anti-Delete

Behaviour and tools around deleted text and media messages.

Media Downloaders

YouTube audio, Instagram and TikTok downloading tools.

AI Chatbot

AI powered chat responses, where configured.

Group Moderation

Tools that help moderators manage group activity.

Pairing

How to Get a JAWAD-MD Pairing Code

The flow on the project’s pairing website, checked against the live page.

01

Open the Pairing Website

Go to the JAWAD-MD pairing website, linked in the Official Links section below. It offers a server selection, a WhatsApp number field and a Generate Pair Code button.

02

Select a Server

Choose an available server. The page lets you pick from servers 1 to 200 and shows server status information, including an active status and a limit indicator.

03

Enter Your WhatsApp Number

Type your number with the correct international country code, for example 92 for Pakistan, 91 for India, 234 for Nigeria, 254 for Kenya or 94 for Sri Lanka.

04

Generate the Pair Code

Press Generate Pair Code. The site creates an 8 digit code, and you receive a notification on your Android or iPhone: tap it and enter the pair code shown.

05

Link in WhatsApp

If no notification arrives, open WhatsApp and go to Linked Devices (three dot menu on Android, Settings on iPhone), tap Link a Device, choose Link with phone number instead, and enter the 8 digit code manually.

06

Confirm the Connection

Check that the new linked device appears in WhatsApp. Linking your account and running the bot on a hosting server are two separate processes: pairing alone does not start the bot.

Session ID

What Is a JAWAD-MD Session ID?

A pairing code and a Session ID do different jobs.

A Session ID is authentication information that a WhatsApp MD bot setup uses to maintain or restore a linked WhatsApp connection. It is not the same thing as a pairing code.

Pairing code: the short code generated on the pairing website and typed into WhatsApp to link your account. Session ID: the session credential produced through the pairing workflow and supplied to a compatible hosting environment so the bot can connect.

The free VPS deployment method documented in the README requires the Session ID from the pair site: after linking, you add that Session ID into the VPS setup. Follow the pairing website’s own instructions to obtain it.

Never share your Session ID. Treat it like a password: anyone who obtains usable session credentials may be able to access the associated WhatsApp session.

Deployment

Deploy JAWAD-MD Free on the Project VPS

The free VPS method documented in the project README, step by step.

01

Open the GitHub Repository

Go to the JAWAD-MD repository on GitHub, linked in the Official Links section below.

02

Star and Fork the Repository

The README asks users to star the repository to support the project, then fork it to your own GitHub account.

03

Open the VPS Deployment Website

Open the project’s free VPS site at jawadtech-vps.onrender.com.

04

Enter Your GitHub Username

Copy your GitHub username and paste it on the VPS site, so the setup can use your fork.

05

Get Your Session ID

Use the pairing website to link your WhatsApp account and obtain your Session ID from the pairing workflow.

06

Add the Session ID

Paste the Session ID into the VPS setup.

07

Deploy and Wait

Click Deploy. The README states the bot should start automatically after approximately five minutes.

08

Restart the Bot

After deployment, send the .restart command, which the README recommends to improve the bot’s performance.

Hosting

Other JAWAD-MD Deployment Options

The README also lists deployment buttons for these platforms. A listing in the README does not guarantee free hosting or full runtime support on each platform, so check current availability, limits and pricing before choosing one.

Heroku

The README provides a one click Heroku template for this repository, linked in the Official Links section below. Sign in, review the configuration, provide the required config values, deploy and check the logs. Heroku availability and pricing can change.

TalkDrove

Listed among the README deployment sites. Check its current workflow and limits before deploying.

Koyeb

The README provides a Koyeb deploy link for this repository, linked in the Official Links section below. Sign in, connect the repository, configure environment variables, select resources, deploy and review the logs.

Railway

Listed in the README. Start from its new project page and configure the bot following the repository instructions. Check current plans and limits.

Render

Listed in the README. Choose a service type that can keep a bot process running continuously.

Netlify

Listed in the README, which does not document a specific Netlify configuration. Confirm the setup can run a persistent bot process before relying on it.

Costs

Is JAWAD-MD Free?

What is free, and what can still cost money.

The bot itself is free and open source: the pairing website describes JAWAD-MD as free, and the repository is published under the Apache License 2.0. Free source code does not mean running the bot is always free.

Hosting: may be free within a provider’s free limits or require a paid plan. AI services: chatbot features may need external APIs or credentials that carry their own costs. Maintenance: updates, configuration and troubleshooting take time.

Review the current pricing and terms of any hosting provider before you deploy, and re-check them when a free tier changes.

Troubleshooting

Common JAWAD-MD Problems

Pairing and deployment issues, and the first thing to check for each one.

Pairing Code Is Not Generating

Make sure you selected a server and entered the correct number, including the country code. Refresh the page, check the server status shown on the site, or try another available server.

WhatsApp Does Not Accept the Code

Confirm you are entering the current code through the Link with phone number instead option, and that the code is still valid. Generate a new code if needed, and do not reuse old codes.

The Bot Is Not Responding

Check that the hosting process is running, the correct Session ID is configured, the environment variables are complete and the hosting logs show no errors. Successful pairing alone does not guarantee the bot process is running.

Deployment Fails

Review the current setup instructions, required environment variables, runtime support and hosting logs, and confirm the deployment link you used is still available. Outdated configuration is a common cause.

Some Commands Do Not Work

Check the feature exists in your installed version, the plugin is present and configured, group permissions are sufficient, the correct syntax is used and any required API credentials are set. Refer to the current project source rather than command lists from other bots.

Safety

Is JAWAD-MD Safe to Use?

JAWAD-MD is unofficial, and its own README says use is at your own risk. These precautions reduce that risk.

JAWAD-MD is an unofficial third-party WhatsApp bot project, not an official WhatsApp application. Its README states that it is not affiliated with WhatsApp Inc. and that the developers are not responsible for misuse or bans that result from improper use.

Use a separate WhatsApp number for testing bots, rather than an important personal or business account. Protect your Session ID: never publish it or send it to people you do not trust.

Review before running: read the public source code, dependencies, configuration and license terms first. Avoid spam and unauthorized automation.

Unofficial automation can lead to temporary restrictions or a permanent ban on the account. A separate number reduces the impact but does not remove the risk. If you stop trusting an installation, remove it from WhatsApp’s Linked Devices.
